I was wondering what the heck I could type here on a Friday to quell the sense of obligation that invariably crops up at the end of a week for a man in the habit of emptying his head into this space.
The answer was sent to me in an email. There is finally another member of my family who's entered into the realm of blogging. My uncle and aunt from Ontario have started a blog to track their impending RV journey around North America.
They've been retired for a few years and must have grown weary of staring out their kitchen window onto the frothing waters of the St. Lawrence Seaway as the cargo ships trundled past in the channels between islands. So, they bought an RV and have been reading manuals and test driving for the past few weeks, having nearly dumped the unit over the edge of their driveway and buried the front in a sandy parking lot, but otherwise have met with initial success.
They plan to make their way progressively south as the climate trends colder over the next few months and into the winter, hibernate in the American south as so many retired Canadians do, and then wend their way up the west coast, finally summering in the Yukon and Alaska next year.
I plan to follow their journey on the blog after they get started, sometime on or after the 20th of August.
Link is here as well as in the sidebar.
Celebrate! A new blog on the horizon, and a Fraser Blog to boot!!!
Hey Simon, I LO-O-O-O-OVE the new banner!

I love RV adventure reading. My in-laws (from Maryland, not from Texas), just send e-mail updates. So five minutes ago.
Nice new banner, too.

Hubster and I have always said that if we won the lottery, a huge RV (or luxury bus, whatever) and we would be off to explore North America. Now that the oldest is starting school...I guess even "IF" we won some money that would not be happening. I am SOOOOO not homeschooling. I love my child too much to damage her that much!!!
