Well, off to a wedding for most of the rest of the weekend - very busy, being a groomsman and all - so I thought I'd leave something a little odd until I get back here Monday.
I grabbed a good head shot of each family member and cropped a picture of just the eyes. Thought it would look neat. I was disturbed that, from the thousands on my computer at home, it took me over half an hour to find a decent shot of myself with my eyes showing. Seems I'm almost always on the other end of the camera.
They're not labelled, but it's pretty obvious who's who. That's all.

Also, an anecdote:
Dex and I were grocery shopping at Superstore the other night (he didn't leave a puddle this time, thank god). It's my habit to talk to him, rather aimlessly, as we stroll the aisles somewhat less aimlessly. It's his habit to point out those items he knows or mistakes for something he knows. There's one whole row where everything is "sauce". My second favourite word to hear him say, next to "salsa!" (He always says that one with the exclamation mark and the italics.) Up until recently my fave was "mustard", pronounced "butt-dude".
I picked up two packs of diapers for Tavish, 60 in each. We started to walk towards the detergent aisle and I began yammering to my boy. "You know Dex, there are 60 diapers in each of those packs. That's a total of 120 diapers. I bet it's going to be a while before you can count all the way up to 120, eh?"
He simply looked up at me with his incredibly guileless eyes and started to say, "One, two..."
At which point I was bent over double, wiping the tears from my own eyes and he was giggling at me.
What a neat idea! Gorgeous eyes, too. Declan's are shaped almost exactly like Amy's. I wonder if Tavish's will stay blue. Have fun at the wedding. We'll miss you.

Ah... nuptials.
I'm sure everything will go swimmingly. And, if you want, you can go swimming.
Man, it's too late after a long week for me to be commenting on blogs.
Have fun, Si-Fi!
