It's been frikkin' scorching hot 'round these parts the past week and more. Tuesday it got up to 32 degrees. That's 90 in the old scale.
Dex has been adamant about spending as much time outside as possible. Not that I mind in the least. It's gotten to the point where he bitches and moans about having to sit down for supper because he wants to go for a walk, or to the park, or for a wagon ride.
Or, best of all, a ride in the wagon TO the park.
This past Saturday, the two of us walked to the park and had a ripping good time. We found and then lost a little spider, played on the slide and swings, greeted some nearby birds and in the end bade farewell in a manner that intimated our eventual return.
Good times.
Great one. Glad to hear his full name pronounced, too. I was not sure how it was supposed to sound. "Gaga bijou." And you can quote him on it.

Cute! Makes me want a wagon ride to the park too.

You were thrilled beyond belief to get that "Hi Boobie" bit, weren't you? This was to die for!

He'll say that a lot in his life time won't he?
That's great number skills he's got there too.

Marian, I was giggling near uncontrollably while filming that bit; the relative steadiness of the camera is testament to how seriously I take these Wednesday clips. That "Hi boobie" was pretty much the best part of my weekend.

Now, to me, it sounded like he was saying, "hi boobies-teat, teat." But that probably says more about me than Dex.
