Since Tavish was born, Amy's been insisting that she sees much more of me in him than she ever did in Declan.
Laying to rest, for Boychild #2 anyway, whatever questions there were as regards the mailman.
When she saw me, camera in hand, snapping a few shots like the one below, her comment to me was (and I could sense her eyes rolling, even though I couldn't see her), "Taking more vanity shots, are we Si?"
Quite frankly, I fail to see the vanity inherent in the picture. I was just trying to emulate my son.
Wow, look at the blond hair! His name really fits him. When will you be getting him his kilt and bagpipes? That boy's a highlander.

She's right! But you need to work on your emulation of the little rosebud nursing lips.

Very close, Dad. Marian has a point, though... And Tav may have a wee bit more hair ;-)

Vanity shot? I didn't know vanity was supposed to be scary. Ha!

Oh, such a serious boy! Can't possibly be your son ;)

Got to work on the "air of disdain" some more, Simon. Tavish has it down pat!
Cute kid, even if his father is the poster boy for lost waifs...
