Second last day of summer

Sporting a brand new haircut, the boy and I went to our favourite playground last night to commemorate the end of summer.

(Plus I also felt a small obligation to make up for nearly biting his thumb off -- see post below.)

We were there for, like, an hour and a half and were driven home by the dusk and the need for a bath.  Plus I could no longer feel my toes.
