One week from today I will be sitting at my desk at work, whiling away the hours until I get to go see Revenge of the Sith. I will be operating at about 50% productivity, at best. Excitement does not begin to describe my current state of mind. I feel pregnant with anticipation. I am bursting with ebullience. I feel the Force strongly. Or at least, a force of some sort; drawing me closer to Wednesday night's midnight showing.
In light of that, a couple trivial things:
I've mentioned it here before, but if you're any sort of Star Wars fan, please do go peruse The Darth Side: Memoirs of a Monster. It purports to be the daily diary of Darth Vader. It was started in early April and began with memoirs just after the Rebel destruction of the first Death Star. Given the chronology of the posts, it looks to be a short-term endeavour that will wrap up before the big date next week. Very well written and delightfully insightful into the mind of a Sith Lord.
Also, the official site just released an animated trailer for Star Wars: Revenge of the Brick. A short flick dedicated to the new Star Wars Lego video game. The trailer is awesome and is worth watching just to see Vader conducting an orchestra of storm troopers with his glowing lightsabre at the very end. The Polaroid photograph that Chewbacca takes of Anakin and Obi-Wan posing in the Mos Eisley cantina develops rather insightfully also.
And lastly, a funny picture I saw today:
Hopefully something more poignant later...
