Friday - Meatloaf supper at a friend's place on the south side of Edmonton. My darling wife, she of the entrancing hazel eyes, made her signature dessert dish: 'Sex in a Pan'. (Graham cracker and crushed pecan crust, chocolate and vanilla pudding filling, whipped topping... simply sinful.) I made some comment about all four of us having sex on the dining room table. I'm very good at amusing myself.
We played 'Scene It' afterwards when the two babies were sleeping. A DVD-based board game. There was only one Star Wars question, but I took pride in winning the game anyway. I'm childish that way.
Saturday - Turkey dinner with the fixin's at Dad's place. Complete with angel food cake and strawberry topping. Those damned Ukrainians put cream in freakin' everything.
Sunday - Another turkey dinner at Great Grandma's house. Amy brought more 'sex'. I refrained from commenting.
Monday morning - up at 5 AM and off to the gym for 45 minutes on the treadmill. 660 calories burned was about half of Friday's gorge.
Happy Easter, all.
How is 'Scene It'? I played "Shout About Movies" but each disc is 25$ and only has three non-replyable games. I liked it a lot but wished it had better replay value... Does 'Scene It' look like it has a long life in it?

'Scene It' seems like it'll give you a bunch more mileage than Shout. There aren't a lot of cards, but there are three questions on each card, depending on which category you roll. And I forget how many movie scenes / soundbites are on the DVD, but each one has 4 or 5 different questions associated with it, so you won't get the same question for the same scene all the time. Overall, it was a lot of fun.
I'd give it 4 Simians beating their chests in futility out of 5.
